Beyond Zero Emissions is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Dominique Hes as the new BZE Principal Researcher.
Dr Hes will lead Beyond Zero Emissions’ innovative research program, which is supporting and accelerating Australia’s transition to a zero carbon economy.
Dr Hes is a well known and respected Australian sustainability leader. She has extensive expertise working in the higher education and building industries in the fields of sustainability, regenerative development, systems thinking, environmental issues, placemaking and project management.
Dr Hes is also highly regarded author, leading and contributing to influential journal articles and books, including Designing for Hope: Pathways to Regenerative Sustainability and the soon to be released Placemaking Fundamentals for the Built Environment.
Beyond Zero Emissions’ CEO Vanessa Petrie said “We are thrilled to welcome Dr Hes to Beyond Zero Emissions. Dr Hes is uniquely placed to drive our ambitious research agenda, which is opening up new opportunities for zero carbon economic development right across Australia.”

Dr Hes will commence on the 6 November.
