This month we will be checking in with the team behind our Snapshot Climate Tool - from inception, to new milestones and what's next...

Communities and councils have a strong and proud history of leading climate action. As a joint initiative led by Beyond Zero Emissions and Ironbark Sustainability, the Snapshot Climate Tool provides standardised carbon emissions profiles for every municipality in Australia. Through offering a snapshot of local emissions, communities are equipped with the information they need to continue to drive change.

Imogen Jubb, Beyond Zero Emissions

Imogen Jubb

Project Manager, Zero Carbon Communities

Imogen is the Project Manager of Zero Carbon Communities, supporting over 100 communities around Australia to achieve zero emissions. She has a background in climate change, education, science communication and sustainability, and has worked as a television presenter and script writer for the ABC. She led the development of the world-first Snapshot climate tool and published the Zero Carbon Communities Guide and the Local Government Climate Review. She has co-authored reports with some of Australia's leading climate change scientists and was elected Board Member of Climate for Change and the Australian Energy Foundation.

Business Manager - Ironbark Sustainability

Alexi Lynch joined Ironbark Sustainability in 2009. In his current role as Business Manager, he works with councils and their communities on energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability projects; promoting climate action and sustainability to the broader sector. He brings decades of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and program development in the sustainability field since co-founding the Environmental Jobs Network in 2001. Alexi managed ICLEI Oceania's flagship Cities for Climate Protection campaign in Australia until mid-2008, building the capacity of Local Government and communities to tackle climate change. Alexi is also the Chair of 'Climate for Change', the only organisation in Australia specifically focussed on helping people have conversations with their peers on climate change.
