Remembering Jennifer Bates

Jennifer Bates, a much-loved BZE volunteer, was killed in a tragic accident on 14 December.

 BZE welcomes Vanessa Petrie as new CEO

BZE is delighted to announce that this week we have appointed Vanessa Petrie to the CEO position.

Vanessa comes from an engineering background with a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from RMIT and a Masters of Environment from Melbourne University. Read more.

Victorian communities getting going on 100% renewable energy

Three Victorian communities will be working with the BZE Zero Carbon Communities program to accelerate 100% renewable energy plans in 2017 thanks to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.

Research and funding for Zero Carbon Industry Plan underway

The BZE Industrial Processes project team presented its first findings at the October monthly BZE discussion group in Melbourne and is available to view here.
